Heavy in my mouth

Words unspoken
A ring of truth
In lines of lies
Dried to dust

Heavy on my mind

The sound of bells
Not ringing
Peals of silence
In an empty room

Heavy in my heart

The weight of time
A ring of finality
And the question remains
Forever unanswered
